The Lo Kai - 1655 Lakeview Ave, Dracut, MA
Event Review:
Finally taking a minute to get these pics posted, the site is attempting a conversion to a web developing system called Joomla which is a bit of a challenge, and it seems like some a tricky fork in the road to do maintennance on the old site while the new one is developed.
Regardless, thanks to Spaz for hosting the event, and all the great bands. People who hadn't seen Big Bang Baby were impressed with their handling of the STP material in a way that kept the energy of their music alive and put on a solid rock show. Shoot the Moon, The Change-Up, and Fatal Flow, are all groups to keep your eyes and ears on.
Thanks to everyone, hope you enjoy the pics! (cont. - CLICK FOR MORE)
Lo Kai Rocgk Party III - CLICK FOR PHOTOS AND BAND LINKS

The Lo Kai - 1655 Lakeview Ave, Dracut, MA
Event Review:
The show kicked off with the debut of In Memory Of..., who were well received and clearly excited about their first show. Then a threesome of Boston groups who kept people moving through most of the night. Margin Walker and Dead Cats Dead Rats played solid sets of punk and indy inspired songs, followed by the rich sound of the trio Hel Toro. The night was wrapped up with the mean punch of Deny The Crown, whose impressive following kept an intense mosh circle thriving on the dance floor throughout their set.
There was a bit of late night excitement when a fight broke out between one of the band's members and one of the DTC fans. This led to some frustrating parking lot conversations and the attention of the bored-to-death Dracut police.
Once again a huge thanks to Amy Hall of Silly Girl Promotions for hosting the event, and to Hammer and Rage Rock Radio.com for their support. (cont. - CLICK FOR MORE)

Event Review:
The 2nd show in this series brought out some of the best Rock groups from the New England scene including 2 personal favorites - Duty Free of NH and The Hands Off Love Affair from Boston. Amazing artists by far worth watching, both destined for greatness.
It was also the premiere of The Jelley Fund's new line-up and setlist, which was an all instrumental arrangement of funk and jam style tunes, which sounded even more complete than with their previous line-up that featured more traditional arrangements and vocals.
Another great night at the Lo Kai, I could not have been more pleased with the groups.
Special thanks to Audio East for their Pro Sound System support, and to all the artists.

Event Review:
Well anyone who attended the first night of our LO KAI ROCK PARTY! series showcasing the best of the best bands and groups knows that it was one of the biggest shows our Greater Lowell area has ever seen.
HOW BIG? After 9:30pm, the room was at full capacity (250 people) and people waited in line for up to half an hour to get in as more people packed the dance floor to make more room and clear the isles. The lines lasted until the last band took the stage at 12.
We would like to make a public apology to Electric Donkey for the complications that led to ED only being able to play 2 songs. Among the problems were one band not conforming to using the provided drums and equipment, the police ending the show earlier than the scheduled ending time as scheduled by the venue, and another band playing a longer than scheduled set.
